NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) yesterday conducted a one-day training program on problems related to customs. excise duties and VCTS for automobile entrepreneurs. The training program was held in Kathmandu on the occasion of the 69th World Customs Day under the patronage of Mr. Suman Dahal, Director General of the Customs Department.Problems related to taxes, customs, and excise duties for automobile entrepreneurs on the context of what is being done, what is the existing system of taxation, were discussed during the program According to NADA, the training program on taxes, customs, and excise duties was successfully completed.
The chief guest of the program and Director General of the Customs Department, Suman Dahal, said that the program was organized to provide necessary information to the automobile entrepreneurs in the context of their problems related to taxes and customs.Similarly, NADA Chairman Krishna Prasad Dulal said that NADA has been conducting such programs for the past few years as such programs would not only provide necessary information to the entrepreneurs but also make it easier for them to expand their business. He informed that it is being completed in the capital and also at the state level.
Director Gyanendra Dhakal from the Customs Department, Director Surya Prasad Pokhrel from the Inland Revenue Department and Director of the Revenue Investigation Department Shiva Sharma imparted the training. Similarly, CA Sahil Agrawal imparted training on behalf of NADA.A total of 46 NADA member companies were present at the event. On the occasion, NADA Chairman Dulal presented a token of affection to the chief guest and Director General of the Customs Department, Suman Dahal. Similarly, Chairman Dulal also distributed certificates to 46 trainees participating in the program.NADA Vice President Karan Chaudhary, General Secretary Sunil Rijal, Secretary Anup Baral, Treasurer Surendra Kumar Upreti, Co-Treasurer Bikram Singhania, Central Working Committee members Abhik Jyoti, Dhubr Bahadur Thapa, Suraj Bhattarai and Kapil Siwakoti were also present on the occasion.
